Eco paper art and design
Ghent, Belgium

Dominique Cambon creates eco paper art and design in which reuse, sustainability and aesthetics come together.

It all began with a passing thought, sparked by a stack of old magazines. That single moment of inspiration set Dominique's creativity in motion: a desire to create a harmonious fusion of sustainability and aesthetics using recyclable materials. By giving discarded elements a new life, she not only tells her own story but also contributes to a greener, more conscious future.

Her work embodies the power of transformation, where reuse and imagination meet.

Her first works were Japanese drawings surrounded by refined paper mosaics that gave the pieces a rich, tactile texture. She later explored other techniques, including modular origami that unfolds into complex forms and delicate filigree work. At the same time, her practice developed through the design of organic light objects inspired by the four natural elements and by the depth of Japanese culture and aesthetics.

Dominique enjoys bringing organic shapes and soft light into a space, creating warmth, atmosphere and a sense of intimate shelter.

She is a detail-oriented, nature-loving creative who finds beauty in imperfection and in the natural irregularities that give her work soul. Through her art, she hopes to create pieces that feel both calming and alive.
