Daniel Leroy, known as Dan'Art, is a self-taught metal sculptor based in Bouffioulx, Belgium. His professional background in metal assembly, welding and ornamental ironwork has given him an intimate knowledge of the material and its many creative possibilities.

Through sculptural compositions made from metal forms and welded elements, he transforms an industrial material into a means of personal expression. His work responds to his mood, his view of the world and the events that leave a lasting impression on him.

Artist statement

My sculptures evolve with my temperament, my view of the world and the events that shape it. Each creation translates an emotion, a reflection or a moment into a material that is both raw and alive.
