Katie Fack

Katie Fack paints in acrylic and oil and draws mainly in graphite and pastel.

I was born and raised in Laarne, the daughter of Emiel Fack and teacher Lucie De Geest, and I am married to Guido. Creative activity has always been a guiding thread in my life. Encouraged by my husband, I enrolled at the art academy in Wetteren in 2011. Since then, my passion for painting and drawing has only grown.

I paint with acrylic and oil, and I draw mainly with graphite and pastel. Colour and light are two important elements in my work. My subjects are things I find beautiful or that move me. A work does not always need to tell a story. Sometimes it is enough simply to find it beautiful.
