About Rosita Santens

Thirty-five years ago I took my first step into the KUMA art academy in Maldegem. That was where my love of painting began.

Life then took a different direction and I had to put that passion aside. Years later I discovered photography, which reawakened my creativity. After a while, however, I began to feel limited in my artistic freedom.

When I ended my self-employed professional activity, a leaflet from Atelier Suzy crossed my path. It became the key to the next stage of my creative life.

Painting returned, together with its wide range of techniques and possibilities for capturing creative freedom on canvas using acrylic, oil, pastel and other media. I am grateful to everyone who appreciates my work and, through that appreciation, gives me the strength to keep developing within the endless possibilities of painting.
